What is video production?
Video production is the process of creating video content, from concept to final output. It involves several stages, including pre-production (planning), production (filming), and post-production (editing and finalizing). During pre-production, ideas are developed, scripts are written, storyboards are created, and logistics like locations, casting, and equipment are arranged. In the production phase, the actual filming takes place, capturing footage with cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
Post-production focuses on editing the raw footage, adding effects, color grading, sound design, music, and motion graphics to refine the video and make it engaging. Video production is used across various platforms, such as social media, websites, TV, and film, to inform, entertain, market, or communicate a message effectively to an audience.
Content is king, but marketing is queen, and runs the household.
